About Me

My name is Kristin Lenker, but most people just call me Kris! First and foremost, I'm a mama to the greatest little girl in the world. She is the absolute light of my life, and my tiny muse. I have been married to the best woman in existence for 13 years. We live with our daughter and 4 dogs in a little country home on the outskirts of Cookeville TN. It's the dream life, man. I'm originally from Louisiana, and I get told you can tell from time to time. I love tacos, coffee, animals, traveling, and being outdoors. You could say I am pretty basic, but I like it that way.

I firmly believe that everyone is perfect and unique in their own way. I want to always capture you in your most natural element, and you are in a safe space when you are with me. I want you to be exactly who YOU are, no matter how different, quiet, or extroverted that may be. I love people of all genders, races, religions, sexual orientations, and everything in between.

My shooting style is pretty simple. I will help you out with where to stand, and also with what to do with your hands. From there I will give you small prompts to help evoke emotion, create movement, or make you laugh big. I just let kids run free and capture them in their natural state. I find that they like it much better that way. I want you to look back on your session with fondness. I want your images to make you feel something.

Let's meet up and chat, or just meet up and shoot. I can almost guarantee we will leave friends, and that I will show you a picture of my kid.
